The Birkenstock Boston is a veritable classic that can easily be worn all year round. It has a legendary status thanks to its sophisticated, individually adjustable design. This version features precisely positioned rivets with no back which are made to sit firmly in the leather in an elaborate production process without going too deep, making them unnoticeable when the shoe is worn. It’s quite an eye-catcher! The upper is made from especially soft suede which hugs the foot like a second skin.

Fitting the Boston
With no strap over the forefoot, Boston clogs can feel less secure than Birkenstock sandals. Many of our customers -- even many who take the Regular/Wide width in their sandals -- prefer their Bostons in the Narrow/Medium width.
A common option is to go "up a size and narrow". After determining your Regular/Wide sandal size, go up one size and take a Narrow/Medium. For example, if your Birkenstock sandals are 38 Regular/Wide, you might feel very comfortable in a 39 Narrow/Medium Boston. (If your feet are genuinely wide, you should probably stick with the Regular/Wide width.)
